Just a few moments ago, I was in pain all over my body, so painful that I was afraid I would die of not being able to breathe, but suddenly I felt lighter, as thought it was a lie. My miserable clothes had been transformed into a pure white dress of fine silk, and I became what I had been as a little girl. Then I realized that my body began to disintegrate. Mysteriously, there was no pain, and I feel good. A soft breeze was blowing and shadows were swaying. I looked up to see what it was, and found a large cherry tree in full bloom, more beautiful than anything I had ever seen. It was just me and the big tree in the vast world, and quiet time was flowing. How comfortable it is. I feel like I have wanted to come here for a long time.

さっきまで体のあちこちが痛くて、息ができなくて死ぬんじゃないかというほど苦しかったけど、急に嘘のように気分が軽くなった。 私のみすぼらしい服は上質なシルクの純白ドレスにかわり、少女の頃の姿になっていた。 そして気がつくと、自分の体が崩壊し始めた。不思議と痛みはなく、気分は良い。 柔らかい風が吹いて、影が揺れていた。なんだろうと見上げると、そこに見たこともないような美しい満開の桜の大木があった。広い世界に私と大樹だけの静かな時間が流れていた。なんて心地良いんだろう。ずっとここに来たかった気がする。
