Leh Palace is a beautiful cliff monastery which stands tall and magnificent when observing it from the Shanti Stupa. We decided to take a walk to this place on a cold windy evening and explore this striking fortification during our last few hours of stay at Leh. The sun was about to set near the horizon and the moon was slowly rising above the mountain on the other side. What a marvelous evening it was and a beautiful sight to behold! In this moment of serendipity, we had witnessed both twilight and the moon all captured in a single frame.
