A day of self-reflection and meditation took me to my favorite local spot, where I sat, closed my eyes, and let nature take me away.
This piece takes me on a mental journey, so I'm asking the viewer to really focus in and let the water guide them.
Have a good look at this image. Scan the details rippling across the surface. Trace them with your eyes. Contemplate the colors. Take your time, and memorize it as best as you can.
Now close your eyes and see these waters as they are. Imagine you're dipping a few fingers into the surface. Feel the water flow around, and move through you. Go ahead and put your hand in, maybe slowing turn your wrist and weave your fingers. Feel the change in the waters movement, and how it pushes and pulls you. Take several deep breaths and meditate on these movements, and how they make you feel. When you're ready, open your eyes and focus back on the image. Again, looking at the details across the surface. Take one last deep breath, and carry on.
