The architecture in London really draws my eye and lookup shots always show it off. I was wandering along south of the river near Tower Bridge and came across these triangular buildings. At first, I didn’t look up and was shooting along the buildings. But when I did, it opened a whole new opportunity. The symmetry was perfect, blue bursting through whispers of cloud, creating my favourite lookup shot.

“Journeys Through London” is my genesis collection composed of 9 unique 1/1s showcasing my London street photography journey.
For many years, I’ve struggled with anxiety but when lockdown hit in 2020, it was really tough. I was no longer able to push my boundaries and keep anxiety at bay so it became hard to do the simple things in life. But sometimes, out of bad comes good – it was at this time that I discovered photography and found that I loved it!
It took a lot of courage to battle the anxiety, head off to London by myself and meet up with people I’d never met before to spend the day shooting. But it was the best thing I could have done! It led to many shoots around the city, meeting some incredible people along the way. The journey had truly begun.
Photography is my escape. I am able to explore London and leave the anxiety behind, creating unforgettable memories. And that is represented by this collection, featuring my favourite pieces since my journey through London began.
