One rainy day in the Mara, came across 3 male lions sleeping in the downpour.

The rain did not seem to bother them as we had seen them the previous day feasting on a buffalo kill. Every now and then one would get up and shake off the water and then go back to sleep.

Captured this moment on one such occasion when this handsome chap called Lekejana woke up, yawned a couple of times and shook itself off.

Processed this in black and white to enhance the effect of the water drops.
