It was our second day in the Mara. We left the camp at 5.30 AM to capture some silhouette images. We had already taken some silhouettes of giraffes on the previous day, so everyone was looking for different animals.

I noticed, two male giraffes fighting each other, and also able to see moon. I asked our driver to stop the vehicle and tried to take few photos, but I didn’t get good images from vehicle as half of their body is merged with the ground in those images.

I asked his permission to get down from the vehicle, he stared at me and observed the surrounding, whether any carnivore animals are there.

He makes sure there is no such animals and gave permission to get down from the vehicle and said me stay close to the vehicle. I get down and lay down to get low level /ground level shots of the giraffes. They saw me on ground and started looking at me like, what this guy is doing. I took few images of their fighting sequence and this is one of them.
