Standing on two sides of something where both have value, we can’t decide how to best move forward, while time burns away. We see opportunities present itself, and we know how to pursue it. The issue is, we know of several ways to do it, remaining stuck in deciding how to proceed. While we wait, we lose our chance to move forward as these opportunities dissipate, as we stare down the next step in our lives. Using woodburning to represent our present and carving to represent our past, the woodburning is surrounded by gold. This gold is representing time, slowly closing in on us even though we rely on its infinite existence. Gold chains connect the two parts of the body, where our energy flows from one choice to the other, with a gem hanging in the center, as that is the opportunity we try to reach. Usually, the opportunity is already in our hands, but indecision can make it hard to reach.
