PAC CATの作品は全て、「不自由の中の自由」のモチーフとしてCATの表現を一貫してきています。コロナ禍における生活の構図のオマージュとして、時代性、社会性を持たせた作品を発表してきました。 現在はその表現から派生し、 選択するという事を自己拘束と解釈し、拘束≒法則と紐付けた着想を得ました。 抽象的なものを含み、万物が形を成し生存するためには法則が必須であり、 その「法則に拘束される」という式を、重なり組み合わさるパズルのように作品に落とし込んでいます。 物理的に限ったものでは無いので、可視化したり不可視であったりする表現をしています。 For all of PAC CAT’s pieces, CATs have been used as a motif for “Freedom within inconvenience”. These works were a tribute to the composition of life during the COVID-19 pandemic, with a historical and social dimension. Now, derived from that expression, I interpreted choice as self-restraint, and ​​linked the idea that constraint ≒ law. Laws are essential for all things to form and survive, including abstract ones, and the expression of "being bound by one’s law" is incorporated into current works like a puzzle that overlaps and combines. Since it is not physically limited, this is expressed in both visible and invisible states.
