This video was the first output created for the Diffuse Together Contest in June 2023. I reworked the motion parameters and prompts to create a final piece, which was selected 2nd place and utilized as an official music video for Peter Gabriel - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VMJGV7GWC5I.

As time has passed, this first output has stuck with me and become one of my favorite video creations to date. Nothing ever hits quite like the first output.

From its very inception, the video presents a profound allegory of modern existence, skillfully embodied by the imagery of sunflowers—unyielding in their devotion to the Sun, analogous to our own subservient connection to a higher power, or perhaps a technological regime. Throughout the narrative, the omnipresence of eyeballs, security cameras, prisoners, and individuals trapped in the matrix, serves as an allusion to the ever-watchful gaze of surveillance, inviting contemplation on the concept of the panopticon, where the line between observer and observed blurs into an unsettling symmetry.
