Clouds are known for their free spirit and unboundedness, yet this cloud is confined inside a desolate room. What does it mean to be free or captive? I believe captivity is a state of mind, and the cloud in this piece represents how anxiety/depression feels like. I’d like to express myself through the concept of “pink cloud,” and although the colour pink can be considered feminine, it can also be regarded as a symbol for anger and rebellion.
