This is my second piece on here. It is made to resemble traditional style Japanese Art. This image is a Tattoo design that has been seen on other all over the world and originates from Japanese Culture. The image of water in Japanese traditional tattoos is often combined with Koi, Dragons, or Oni. In addition to symbolizing strength and life, water tattoos convey the belief that life, like water, ebbs and flows. It is strong and swift when necessary, but can be gentle and calm as well. Japan is often referred to as "the land of the rising sun". The red disc symbolizes the Sun and the red lines are light rays shining from the rising sun.
