I am foolish, but I am aware. It is this awareness that has given me the power to burn the bridges I wanted to walk across forever. Today I stand and look at myself. I see the right, I see the wrong and I chose to exist in-between. Existing in a world where I can be happy without anyone’s anger coming towards me. Even if I don’t want to, I must accept it's fantasy. What am I doing? What is the lesson God is teaching me? I am left a little angry knowing the answer lies before me. Most days you walk across, but today you look at your bridge and look at the monsters that exist beneath it. This duality is one I do not want, but it follows me. Today my reflection showed I didn't care about what I should’ve cared about. Consider me sad about the cards life has dealt me; but I will never regret accepting what they've shown me.
