秋 AKI is the first in a series of four works called Kisetsu, each presenting the seasons of the year, from my perspective, based on Japanese culture and Shintoism.
In Japan the seasons of the year are called Kisetsu as a whole, as a unit, as an eternal, natural, and constantly changing cycle, and Shintoism is considered the original religion of Japan and is based on the veneration of the Kami or spirits of nature.
季節 Kisetsu - The four Seasons This series is an invitation to enjoy the changing landscape according to the seasons, it corresponds to the Zen concept such as the fleetingness of the moment and the concentration on enjoying it, as well as being a reflection of the eternal circle, an endless cycle. It is an invitation to think of nature as something divine, to whom respect and adoration are owed.
