PARALLEL TIMELINES is an introspective song by Heno. that talks about reimagining what life would look like in various scenarios; from envisioning life without racism, to a life where if someone whose passed was still around to receive their flowers. Death is often an uncomfortable topic to talk about but it took me researching different cultures to realize that most folks view death as a celebration of one's life (rather than the mourning of a loss in the US). Much like crossroads we have to make decisions about what paths we want to choose in life & I think that works similarly with our perception. In a world where we have very little control, we do have the ability to control how we react, what words we choose to say and, most importantly, how we perceive things; especially things that we are uncomfortable with. The artwork was done by Jaiye Farrell, cultivating his style of painting abstract patterns that transcend societal/cultural divides & remember the communal roots of humanity
