Italy was once known for its high-quality textiles. Made in Italy was a trademark. Today, many of the well-known designer brands prefer to resort to cheaper production solutions. As a result, dozens of cotton mills and linen factories are now modern ruins and entire areas of Italy have been transformed into dystopian landscapes.
