Khione, the Greek goddess of snow and ice, is reimagined here as a powerful Black deity who exists inside an enchanted glacial universe. Combining photography with digital collaging techniques, this artwork brings together the topographic linework emblematic of VintageMozart and striking portraiture familiar to Ayesha Kazim’s photographic practice to craft this boldly divine, feminine narrative.
