I've been on a journey of grief, growth, and the unknown... sitting in discomfort and feeling things I haven't for years. This journey has me experiencing things I never dreamed possible. I've been giving myself the grace of knowing that this past year hasn't been easy for anyone and that I've had to face a lot. Where I'm at is okay. I'm taking steps in the right direction, and even when I feel lost these steps are taking me right where I'm meant to be.

My journey took me to Utah where I captured feelings I couldn't put into words. A picture is worth a thousand words but this one is a novel.

Chasing stars is therapeutic. My soul feels at peace when I'm in the company of just me and starlight. I stood barefoot on this tall, sandy hill staring into the vastness of the night sky. With the universe as my company, I didn't even realize how cold it was. In that moment, alone in the desert, I realized the nights are only really dark if you let them be.
