As a child, I was afraid of freshwater fish. People laughed at me a lot because there aren’t any sharks in freshwater. When I grew up, I discovered that not only do some sharks frequent freshwater rivers, most sharks are adapted to a limited diet. By contrast, many catfish are highly aggressive predators that will consume almost anything. I learned that people will laugh at other people's fears of things when they don’t understand. Also, while plenty of predators aren’t interested in eating humans, it’s definitely not true that animals avoid hunting us because they perceive us as innately superior.

The title is a reference to Jacques Derrida’s famous essay. Whoever collects this piece will receive the three individual pieces corresponding with the name of the concept from the title. Those will be minted on OS after this piece is collected. The species will be revealed then too.
