Star trails. The bane of any astrophotographer's existence, when it comes to getting sharp stars. But what about using the trails themselves as the subject for the photo? All it takes is a much longer exposure (30 minutes or longer, with appropriately low ISO and high f-stop), and finding Polaris. (You can use one of many popular night sky apps to find out where to point your lens!)
