About the piece: This piece pays tribute to the great African-American jazz poet, soul singer and author GIL-SCOTT HERON who penned one of the most critically acclaimed works ‘The Revolution Will Not Be Televised’.


A micro-collage composed from fragments of vintage magazine cutouts. Pieces are cut and pasted onto 11x17 300 series charcoal paper then the final work digitized ‘tradigitally’ with a combination of scanned images and hi-resolution photography.
