"The Messenger" is hand drawn with ink and colored digitally. This is the second in my series titled “This city is growing on me”. This piece is a whimsical take on the relationship between civilization and the natural world. I have always admired the pigeons ability to live and even thrive in cities, adapting seamlessly into our society. The messenger quietly waits among the brick cliffs and neon stars for her new home, and next adventure to begin.
