"The park clears as does the burning sunset. The only people who remain are the Milky Way chasers. The ones with true dedication to see the peaks of stacked multi-colored rock in a form of beauty that most do not bother to experience. The sky slowly begins to dance as the glowing Milky Way starts to show itself. This is when Zion comes to life."

This image is something truly beautiful. This spot has been shot so many times and for good reason. The composition doesn't get much better. This shot is 2 images blended together. The first image was shot at late blue hour for the foreground. This is because I wanted to have clean shadows throughout the whole image whilst holding sharp detail. The second image was a shot of the Milky Way as it moved above the river. The overall blend turned out seamless. In total around 5-7 hours of post processing was put into this image, and it shows. It is safe to say the work was worth it for this stunning final product.
