Sometimes we find ourselves in a situation of internal conflict, wanting to hold onto someone or something, yet deep within we have an intuitive feeling that we need to let go and move on.
The inspiration for this piece comes from recognising the attachments I've formed with different places, cultures, and people as I move through this journey of life.
I have come to realise that, by letting go I allow myself to float up, enjoy past experiences for what they were and open myself to whatever new opportunities life holds for me.
This piece is an animation of my original oil painting on large canvas. I began working on it in Singapore, continued in Germany and finished it in Hong Kong.
