With the intent to understand and appreciate the culture and traditions of Kerala and its unique ritual art forms, the team has researched and put together interesting details about Arjuna Nritham in this NFT project.

Arjuna Nritham (Arjuna's Dance), also known as "Mayilpeeli Thookkam," is a Kerala ritual art. The different dancing moves resemble "Kalarippayattu" methods (an ancient martial art form of Kerala). The "dance of Arjuna," Arjuna Nritham, is thought to have originated in the Arya – Dravidian civilization, and the subject matter is clearly narrated through the intricacies of rhythm, the beautifying postures, and the gestures in the art form.

This rich and colorful art form which combines well with the peaceful landscape, creating a heavenly atmosphere is depicted here in a collage of 10 artworks in watercolor medium rendered in Adobe After Effects.
