'Daku Island' is the third image in my three-part NFT photography series, 'It's More Fun In The Philippines'.
Daku Island is a tropical paradise located 30 minutes by boat from the more popular Siargao Island. It's outrageously beautiful and I'm still trying to come to terms with the fact that Daku Island actually exists!
In 2018, I visited the Siargao region in the Philippines and spent 2 weeks traveling around this phenomenal archipelago.
I jumped on an island hopping tour from Siargao with a friendly Filipino guide, and when we reached Daku Island, he beached his traditional Bangka boat on the palm-fringed shoreline and I set off on foot to explore.
I had so much fun running around the island, climbing coconut palms, swimming in turquoise waters, and then launched my drone to capture this aerial image of the Bangka boat in the shallows.
Daku Island is without a doubt one of the most picturesque islands in the Philippines and I'm grateful to have had this memorable experience.
