25 floors above the hustle and bustle of the streets below and a cloudy day we played around. It was a cloudy day but we could still see down to One World Trade, wearing a thin mist barely able to view it's spire. Britt had laid out a number of items from which to pull and I was drawn to this piece by Tom Ford, in some positions it was almost like a burka yet in others, through movement is was anything but. There is probably a metaphor in the moment, we were just creating, she was moving and I saw this darkness in the negative spaces between her arms and body, the way her skin faded to the black of the dress ... it felt cosmic.
