Nobody asked to be here- let alone experience all of the uncomfortable moments that come along with being human.

I remember literally moving my entire life to a different part of town because everything around me triggered me. Street names, restaurants, & even certain smells. I didn't ask for the situations that put me there and I didn't ask for the torture I endured for years after...

I also wouldn't trade those experiences for anything because I am now a much stronger person with a far deeper appreciation for sunshine, having now endured the storms.

Life isn't about being comfortable. Much of life is wildly UNCOMFORTABLE! Life, to me, is about learning to navigate the entire spectrum of emotions and experiences that come with being human because what is sunshine without, snow, clouds, & storms?
