This piece was inspired by a Jackson Pollock piece i witnessed while at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in NYC as a child.. Jacksons work combined with the abstract complexities of Pablo Picasso and the fresco style of Michelangelo are what enriched this piece to reverberate a Rembrandt like feel, similar to how one would feel when observing his piece "The Night Watch" in the Rijksmuseum from 1642.
Rembrandt was known for his masterful use of light as one can see similar resemblance of how the light creates almost a tyndall effect on the gold tooth which further showcases the chartreuse greenish hue of the snot, as is dribbles down from the damp nostril.
