Every day, more and more of my life and self becomes intertwined with the machines around me. I can feel the tug to be constantly connected, to be constantly plugged in; it's like an invisible string that grows longer and thicker as the days go by.
Will it ever end? Can I ever escape it?
I can feel it pulling me deeper into the virtual world. I'm enticed by the allure of being surrounded by so much information and limitless possibilities. I can feel it pulling me towards that sense of weightlessness, where every need has its solution at my fingertips.
There's a temptation to simply go with it, to ride along on the current into whatever direction it takes me…
The world is split into two halves: the physical and the digital. We experience the physical world through our senses, touching, seeing, hearing, and smelling. The digital world is experienced through our screens, a galaxy of ones and zeroes that we can manipulate with the touch of a button. We are both physical and digital beings, existing in both worlds simultaneously. But what does it mean to be human in a world that is increasingly dominated by technology?
