i wrote this in the midst of many transitions and a relentless retrograde. i was doing my best to hold everything together, until i realized that maybe if i take my hands off of what i was trying to control, God can put His hand on it and turn it into something greater.

letting go is liberating. it can be scary, but it will free you. i'm finally realizing that better is always ahead of you if you believe them to be.

this song is being released on Indigenous People’s Day (shout out to my Native Americans + Cherokee tribe worldwide!!) and also on 10/10, which is the angel number that represents new beginnings. since we have to release before we can receive, i couldn’t think of any better day to bring “Surrender” into the world.

i know i say this all the time, but i am so grateful for all of my collectors!! thank you for carrying me through these transitional times. this truly isn’t possible without you.
