This was my longest flight off the edge of Somnium Space. It takes over an hour to walk here, forcing a meditation of sorts - sometime with an edge of anxiousness, sometimes in a spirit of surrender. Usually when I jump off the edge of this floating flat world I fall almost immediately into the amniotic fluid that this world floats in. Beyond the edge almost all form is lost and only sound and light remain below in an endless fall. After a time it no longer feels like a fall if you surrender. It just is. (This series started with an assignment for National Geographic magazine and continued into a series of independent Edge Studies and performances.)
