Those innocent eyes speak volumes about how safe she feels within the comfort of her mother’s arms. The pride on her mother’s face shows how beautifully she is ready to do anything, take any risk to protect her baby. After all, it is her baby we’re talking about. She can’t risk her baby’s life. The shades of nature change seasonally, but a mother’s love is unconditional; it grows with time only to become fierce as a tempest. My heart goes out to those little ones who have lost their mothers in such a competitive ecosystem where the fittest survives. In a jungle, there is no place for the meek; it is the area of the untamed and the bloodthirsty.
Motherhood, this series is a result of almost 9 years of photography, endless efforts for one single perfect moment. This series is dedicated to Asiatic Lions which are only around 700 in the wild and seen in the wild in Sasan Gir, India.
