This image was taken at San Pedro, California right before the sunset. The light was still pretty strong and I had to constantly shift positions to ensure I avoid any flare and had to hide behind the tree on the left. While retaining the texture in the sky was important, there also had to be enough details that I could pull off the tree because it added so much character to the image. Icing on the cake was that strip of light hitting the grass.
