Kungsträdgården, probably the most surreal station, was also the last stop in my journey through Stockholm's metro art, and therefore the last photo in the collection. A perfect wrap up.
About the station art:
Kungsträdgården (The King's Garden) is not only one of Stockholm’s most stunning stations, it's also one of the most photographed. Located in the middle of downtown Stockholm, it’s the end of the blue line. In 1977, Ulrik Samuelson transformed the station into an underground garden to reflect the rich history of this Stockholm suburb. Samuelson opted for red, green and white as a reference to the old French formal garden and statues.
