Abstract #1 represents how direct it can be for the mind to slip from sadness to happiness.

Sometime sadness, represented by the cooler tones, is an upward battle. It takes a lot for me to feel grief, and when I do, I feel alone on a hill looking at the beauty before me but having no way to connect with it.

Sometimes happiness, represented by the warm tones, is found when my feet feel grounded. What makes me happy may not be external factors, but whatever it is, those warm feelings center me and put me in a place where I can continue on.

Life is fleeting, yet it is filled with a countless amount of moments.

At times, we lose sight of the big picture, and other times we focus too much on the future and past instead of the present.
