This piece’s title was inspired by Zora Neale Hurston’s “Their Eyes Were Watching God”.

I’ve been into incorporating bodies in my work a lot more than usual lately, both by showing personal relationships with them along with societal expectations of them. This particular piece is near and dear to me because it feels like I’m holding up a mirror. What do you see?
