Standing dangerously close to the crashing waves along the beach I, braced my tripod as the water surged around me.
I knew I was running the risk of having my gear soaked by a rogue wave, but I was determined to capture the beautiful ebbing water. It is in these wild moments that I feel most alive, in a complete stay of flow.

During my travels in Peru, we visited an incredible oasis on the edge of the desert, Huacachina. Driving into town I could see the dunes towering above and realized this wasn't like any desert I had been to before, the scale here was much bigger.
At sunset, I climbed up one of the tallest dunes and was met with this extraordinary view. Sandunes stretch as far as the eye can see, glowing in the golden light. An evening I will never forget.
