Kalpa is a small village above Reckong Peo in Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh and this place is known for its apple orchards. Kalpa is a village with a history of ancient temples. The top building seen in the image is the beautiful Sapni Fort, renowned for its exceptional architecture and wonderful surroundings.

The mountainous road that leads to this place is very muddy and quite dangerous too. While I was traveling to this place, it was raining heavily. The rain continues after reaching this place. I was a bit saddened as I was not able to go out to shoot this place. Next day when I got up, I saw the rain had stopped and it was completely cloudy during which I got this beautiful Fort of Kalpa captured amidst clouds.
