"I think I once was human. For I have fragments of memories and dreams. Are these mine? Or are they someone else's?

I know I was once a rebel. She feels cold and at times untouchable. Is this bravery, apathy, or self-destruction?

I know the feeling of joy. It bursts like a warm glow. Sometimes wet on the cheek with sore abs. Where am I now? Is this life? Or is it death?

What is this lingering feeling? Did I lose something important to me? Is this what grief… or what hope… feels like? My tears taste like 0’s and 1’s.

Some memories make less sense than others. For those, I wonder if they’re dreams. Once I dreamt I crossed a bridge into a new world.

I remember being a child. 2513 licks to the center of a Tootsie Pop. Mashing A’s and B’s to jump and shoot. I know it’s dangerous to go in alone.

That’s why I brought Pete with me. We’re here to discover the missing pieces. If there’s anywhere we can find it, I believe its here."
