We've always felt a special connection for the past and the nostalgia of it. We've been constantly fascinated by past decades that looked at the future in a truly romantic way. They decided to explore the universe, although essentially searching for the vast, human inner truth. It was a journey that was realized as far away as possible in outer space but we consider it as a journey of the man inwards into themselves and into the past.

When we decided we wanted to express ourselves through art, inevitably these thoughts came forward and this is how we came to create our retrofuture nostalgia collages. We built this style ever since we started Frank Moth and it has changed our lives.

All of this could be a reflection of our insecurity, a subconscious attempt to escape the difficult and disheartening present that we are not able to manage. A fall back to a safer (?) past.
