I worked closely with Emily my last year of college, where I discovered she'd done some modeling before. I'd taken a photography class a few years prior so we talked about doing a photo shoot sometime. We never picked an actual date for the shoot, just talked about doing it at some point in the future. Graduation happened and we pursued careers several states apart, so the shoot never happened...until meeting back up 5 years later! We went for an earthy, spring look in this shoot with a splash of silver shine in Emily's flowy dress. She's really channeling the natural grace of a deer in this one, and I actually won 2nd place in a photo portrait contest with this image. Luckily for us, 1 shoot has turned to 3 and hopefully more. I've got more photos from collaborating with Emily and hope to keep making magic with her and the camera in the future.
