The Suspended Creation was made by photographing the "Born of Nature II" land mural with a drone by taking 148 photos of the piece from several angles. The photos were then stitched together using a technique called photoscanning which creates a 3D model of the photographed object.

This surreal animation depicts the mysterious nature of life and the passing of time. As the time goes on and the weather starts changing, the actual piece made with 100% natural earth pigments will start to fade away and will eventually return back to nature.

"Born of Nature II" is the second collaboration between visual artists David Popa and Juuso Hämäläinen. Located on an islet off the coast of Helsinki, the Project spans from painting, photography, videography, music and 3D sculpture. The end result is the documentation of a massive, ephemeral land art mural that will ultimately fade from the elements.
