What is born of the earth must return to it. The final image of the piece is in a state of flux, fading in and out of itself. It represent the cycle of life here on this earth. The images are taken 2 months apart from the date of completion.
"Born of Nature II" is the second collaboration between visual artists David Popa and Juuso Hämäläinen. Located on an islet off the coast of Helsinki, the Project spans from painting, photography, videography, music and 3D sculpture. The end result is the documentation of a massive, ephemeral land art mural that will ultimately fade from the elements.
