It cost me several days to create this piece, mainly because the way to it wasn't easy to find. I wanted to re-use the very first piece I worked on for NFTs -though it was only the second to be minted- and tried many different approaches. When finally I had discovered what I had to do, there was still quite some struggle to find the tools to do it, and the finetuning of these tools took another good deal of time and effort. Anyhow, all that is not really an issue if you love your work. I love my work (the process) and I loooove my work (the result). Plus, I understand Venus as a kind of symbol for the female, and to me, after all, ladies are the most attractive part of this world. So this is somehow a(nother) portrait of what I feel for beauty, or what beauty makes me feel. The title also went through several steps of evolution, but a lot faster: after finishing the picture, almost right away a fragment of a song came to my mind, it's the first chords of "Baby One More Time" and, although I love Ed Sheeran's version (21 years more recent) just as much, this refers to the original, by Brittney Spears. I'm not really a fan of this girl, but that song -specially the music- is simply great. The last thing was to find a good combination of "Venus" and "Baby One More Time" ...
