After several months of travel, she met a group of fellow adventurers who convinced her to join them on their quest to vanquish an evil sorcerer who had been terrorizing the kingdom. After defeating the sorcerer and saving the kingdom, Penelope became known as one of the greatest heroes of her generation. Penelope continued to adventure with her friends for many years, until one day they confronted a dragon who proved too much for even their combined might. In the end, Penelope sacrificed herself to save her friends, becoming one of the few people ever to defeat a dragon in single combat. Her heroic deed was sung about by bards across the land, ensuring that her legend would live on long after her death.
