Story
I always liked the old yacht station on the beach of Azov Sea in Mariupol. In 2002 there were plans to build a sports and entertainment center sponsored by the local radio, they even brought in a DJ guy with huge concert speakers that for some reason were piled up inside a small room where he played jungle and drum 'n' bass (I remember the first time I heard Aphrodite, DJ Rap & Ronnie Size there) and there were absolutelly no people around. My friends and I had agreed to come here for a free break-dance training on scraps of linoleum in a room on the second floor and I don't think there was even a shower - we just went for a swim in the sea.
Ten years later my friends and I would go for allnighters on the beach with a campfire, music and booze. When we ran out of wood we took apart someone's fence and burned it to keep warm at night. It was a beautiful carefree time and I remember it with joy.
For some reason I shot this sunset as a panorama of vertical frames. There are about 7 photos stitched together here and technically this shot is pretty weak, but I have a personal story connected to absolutely every element in this photo. Now I look forward to reshoot this shot as soon as I got a chance = as soon as Ukrainian Army kicks out the terrorists from Donetsk Region of Ukraine. Please take a look at the project's website to find out why it matters and how I plan to help my city with my NFT collection: https://www.lifedeathandresurrection.com
