Art history is full of depictions of wealthy men. From the Renaissance to the modern day, they have long had the financial resources and social status to commission and create their own works of art depicting themselves as conquerors, tycoons, and kings. Women on the other hand are depicted as objects of desire, trophies to be won and admired for their beauty but not for their success. I believe the times are changing and our art should change with it. This work places our female characters in the positions of power, wealth, and success. And in eccentric fashion, their male counterparts are placed at their beck and call. It’s a man’s world no longer. It’s time for the Feminine Renaissance.
