Wallet shown in the work is a blank one generated by the artist and only the portrait owner and the artist have the private key. The wallet is a part of the artwork, and it’s built by code in bytes using an algorithm called Elliptic Curve Digital Signature Algorithm (ECDSA). So it’s quite metaphorical how our societal exchange of value is now gradually being stripped to store as code, stored in code.
