Historical Graffiti in Korea collection image

Embark on a wild, graffiti-fueled romp through the vibrant streets of "Spraycation: Korea," a collection that thrusts you into the epicenter of Asia’s rising street art scene. Despite Seoul’s contemporary status as a global hub for fashion and youth expression, in the early 2000s, graffiti artists had to navigate a landmine of conservative values and cultural taboos. However, that didn’t stop these 4 maverick graffiti artists from arming themselves with spray cans and taking to the streets, transforming the city into a thrilling battleground where creativity confronted tradition. Unaltered and unedited, these 8 representative works serve as unfiltered snapshots, capturing the very best of the exhilarating clash of colors, cultures, and countercultures that laid the foundation for Seoul’s emergence as an international graffiti destination.
