Antarctica is full of incredible beauty and painted in different shades of whites and blues. Huge icebergs, fjords, mountains, ice caps and of course untouched wild nature with hundreds of penguins awaiting you on shore. You have to cross “Drake’s Passage”, one of the roughest seas on Earth, if you want to get there. But when you see the first icebergs and you realize that you have arrived, all your struggles are forgotten. Antarctica is like a different world, unlike anything you have ever seen before.
Antarctica was on my bucket list for so many years and in January 2022 I finally had the chance to make this trip to the end of the world. It took me four days of traveling until I arrived in this surreal world. In this collection I share 20 of my best shots with you, shot on a Sony Alpha 1 and a 100-400mm telephoto lens. Every piece is unique and one of a kind. I was lucky to be given special permission to fly my drone there for some extraordinary and rarely seen shots from above.
